UFO sighting stories have been very common for the last 100 years. Every once in a while we come across a report of a UFO sighted somewhere in the world. Whether it be out of the ordinary stationary lights in the sky or the erratic movement of objects, people have, on various occasions, been certain that they have detected extraterrestrial beings and their space vehicles. One must also remember that an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) is any aerial phenomenon that cannot be immediately identified or explained. But even so, more and more believe that most UFOs are clear evidence of alien spacecraft on our planet.
When someone claims to have seen a UFO, the vast majority believe that it could have been a natural phenomenon or a flying ground object, such as a plane or a drone. But what happens if the UFO appears on the television news live? Well, this is what happened during the news in Brazil.

José Luiz Datena presents “Brasil Urgente” on the Rede Bandeirantes television network, in which he gives his political opinion. After interviewing President Jair Bolsonaro on February 16, Datena noticed something strange on the main screen that showed a panoramic view of São Paulo.
The strange moment was seen by the Brasil Urgente team and also by the viewers who were following the program at that time, some scenes that went viral on social networks, and which apparently showed that the cameras had recorded a UFO. As can be seen in the images, it does not look like a plane or a drone, and seems to move at high speed, which has caused some to suggest that it is a kind of spaceship from other worlds.
Upon seeing the mysterious object, the presenter set out to comment live on what he was seeing. Datena spoke about the UFO, but to avoid a panic among the viewers, she said that it was simply a plane.
“Look at the plane that goes by,” Datena said live. “It’s an airplane or flying saucer. It can’t be a flying saucer because when the show starts talking about a flying saucer it’s because it’s at the end, it’s already gone. So it’s not a flying saucer, it’s a plane.”
The ufology community shared the video of the UFO live, assuring that it is one of the best evidences of extraterrestrial beings on our planet. Datena also shared the strange moment on his Twitter profile, but ironically.
“Did I tell the ETs in Brazil Urgent? They are saying that I would be ET,” Datena wrote.
However, so far there has been no official explanation as to what the UFO actually is. So it goes without saying that many experts in the field point out that the mysterious object appears to be traveling at Mach 2 or twice the speed of sound, and is shaped like a cigar. Unfortunately, if we enlarge the image we find that the object is blurred and impossible to identify
Its speed seems to rule out that it is an airship, the shape does not match that of a passenger or military plane, and of course it is not an insect or bird. The only logical and rational explanation is that it was a camera failure, although it is unlikely. It must also be said that this is not the first time that a UFO has appeared on the live news.
Let us remember that on the night of May 8, 2020, during the news on the Spanish television channel Telecinco, a luminous object in the shape of a disc appeared passing over the Roman monument Castillo de Sant’Angelo, located on the right bank of the river Tiber. The UFO was seen by several viewers during a live connection at 8:45 p.m. local time, where the situation of the coronavirus pandemic in Italy was reported. At a given moment, the presenter of Informativos Telecinco Pedro Piqueras gives way to the correspondent in Rome Darío Menor.
While the Spanish journalist was talking about COVID-19, a strange luminous object appears moving from left to right of the images. The elongated UFO seemed to come from St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City and was heading towards the center of Rome. The images show the rapid passage of an elongated white luminous object, which appears and disappears in a matter of seconds. One day after the video of the UFO in Rome went viral, the same chain was forced to offer an explanation, that it was a seagull.
In the case of Brazil, without any evidence or testimony other than the video, it continues to be an unidentified flying object.
