Mellisa Braham from St. Helens stated that she received a new smart phone as a birthday present and decided to take her dog for a walk on a pleasant day of February 26. She brought along her new phone to test out its camera capabilities.
Mellisa captured several short videos and clicked multiple photos with varying resolutions during the walk. She transferred the photos to her computer later that night to view them.
While reviewing some still photos, I came across what appeared to be a small humanoid-shaped figure walking from right to left.
I cannot confirm if it is a living creature, but upon closer examination of the enlarged images, it certainly appears to have two legs, a body, arms, hands, feet, and even a head with an eye.
The unusual object that caught my attention remains unidentified as it reflects light and casts a shadow on the ground. It bears no resemblance to any animals such as squirrels, rats, or birds that I have seen before.
The object’s peculiar appearance leaves me uncertain of its true nature. It could be a mere coincidence, like an oddly positioned litter or a visual illusion caused by lighting, or something more significant. My knowledge of photography is limited, and all I can offer is my personal observation of what it seems to be.
The photograph was captured using a fully automatic 12 MP camera at maximum resolution and without any zoom. The location of the photo is Cowley Hill Lane in St. Helens, between the entrance of Victoria Park and the now-demolished health center.
Mellisa Braham expressed her intention to share the image with experts for further analysis. According to one researcher, the figure appears two-dimensional and lacks detail, a view shared by others who examined the photo.
The researcher also noted that the photo accurately depicts the bright and sunny conditions, and any lack of detail may be due to the absence of cloud cover.
Moreover, the researcher questioned how a shape-shifting, wormhole-traveling extraterrestrial entity would appear to the human eye. Notably, I did not observe the figure in person as it was a spontaneous test shot to experiment with the camera’s features.
If someone put it there as a joke, a model, a toy, or a cardboard cutout, why didn’t I see it, and wouldn’t an observant little kid have seen it and taken it?

Plus, it wasn’t a windy day, but there were times when the breeze was strong enough to easily blow over a light toy, let alone a paper cutout. Who can get a piece of paper less than a millimeter thick to stand up on its own in a windy day with no visible support?
Mellisa’s story has been posted on several popular extraterrestrial websites. She says that people have called her a liar and made fun of her for telling it.
