We all know that dogs are man’s most devoted and loyal friend. Pitbull Nong Horm, a two-year-old dog, proved that loyalty when he chose to sacrifice his life to save his owner’s family from a poisonous snake.

The cobra is one of the most dangerous snakes in the world. Its venom can kill a giant animal in just a short time. Horm is pregnant – the dog sacrificed herself and her children but did not include her owner’s family.

Owner Suriyon Chanthakhet said the tenacious dog gave his life to save his family from danger.

mr. Suriyan Janket posted his dog, named Horm, it died next to a de.ad snake in Pathum Thani.

Horm was making a reservation for the 4ft long snake in the front yard, nearby its owner’s son Buncherd was hugging the Horm as it was dyi.ng.

Before that, Horm, who was three months pregnant, caught a cobra prowling near the family’s chicken coop. Out of instinct, she rushed towards the snake and wrestled with it, culminating in disaster.

mr Janket told Αmarin TV that no one was there at the time of the incident. Indeed, their replacement pitbull, who lived with them, was out playing.

Neighbors informed him that they had discovered a dead snake in front of the house. Then the owner came home to find the snake was dead there. Nearby his dog Horm lay motionless as well.

mr Janket is seen hugging Horm which shows how deeply he loves her. He also said that his son didn’t accept the shock, and that he continued to cry and hug Horm throughout the evening.

This is not the first time a dog has been praised for fighting a snake.
