And as if a global pandemic wasn’t enough, it has also coincided with a spike in global UFO sightings.

Mysterious objects have been reported in the night sky, setting the record in the last 30 years. Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper reports that there were 87 UFO sightings in March in Belgium and 188 in the first three months of the year. There is also a constant stream of reports coming from elsewhere, including the UK and the US.

The last big spike in sightings came in 1989 with a number of people reporting seeing “flying triangles” thought at the time to be secret experimental aircraft. But now there is a strange phenomenon that goes much further than an unidentified flying object. Another video recorded on April 1 in the borough of Queens, New York, seems to show exactly the same lights as those in Madrid. The person who uploaded the video asked if it was “something paranormal,” but no one could explain. Three days ago, a Reddit user posted three images of the strange blue light over Pennsylvania, United States.

“I had posted about a great sound heard in 5 counties in PA 2 weeks ago, these lights were seen directly afterwards,” the user wrote. “Now I see more posts about these blue lights appearing all over the world.”

Another redditor then posted a photo of a blue light surrounded by dots floating in the sky over Western Australia. So far no one has been able to find a logical and rational explanation for these strange lights in the sky. In the past, these sightings were attributed to spotlights emanating from clubs and nightclubs. But with most countries around the world in strict lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic, this possibility is completely out of the question.

This led skeptics to offer their own explanations. Some said that it was a completely natural phenomenon due to a piezoelectric effect. Apparently, if the large slabs of quartz crystal in the Earth’s crust are compressed at a specific angle, it causes a large electric field to generate a local equivalent of an aurora in the sky and usually occurs before a large earthquake.

Another proof is found in the recent video from the International Space Station, which showed hundreds of lights forming in the direction of our planet.
