The incredible image of the deadly wild animal accepting the water occurred after it was observed urgently ʜᴜɴᴛɪɴɢ for water during a drought in a town in southern India.

The wildlife ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇr boldly offered the parched snake water, and he eagerly stretched his neck and drank it. The 12-foot-long cobra was recovered from a hamlet in Kaiga municipality, where it had presumably gone in search of water.

Drought has caused water scarcity in several regions of southern India. According to wildlife officials, the region’s wild animals have been badly impacted by the drought.

When the ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ crew discovered the cobra, the first thing they did was offer it water. The ‘thirsty’ cobra is seen gulping water from the bottle. In an attempt to ‘cool’ the snake down, the heroic savior also poured water over its head. The snake was eventually transported to an animal shelter.
